Join us for a private two-hour guided tour of the impressive Abu Simbel Temple site in Aswan. Constructed around 1255 BC under the orders of Ramses II, this complex consists of two temples that are simple awe-striking inside and out. The largest temple is dedicated to Amun, Ptah, and Ra-Horakhty and features four giant 20-meter tall seated figures of Ramses II against the face of the cliff drawing you into the entrance. Inside are three consecutive halls filled with statues and painted scenes commemorating the king’s supposed victory at the Battle of Kadesh. The smaller temple honors the Goddess Hathor, personified by Nefertari who was Rameses II most beloved wife. This exclusive tour includes round-trip private transportation, a boxed breakfast and lunch.
