Explore one of the most famous burial sites in the world as we travel to the Necropolis of Thebes on the West Bank of the Nile to visit the impressive Valley of the Kings. The tombs of pharaohs ranging from Thutmose I all the way until Ramesses XI are present here. There are 63 tombs in the area—including Tutankhamen’s—built here between 1539 BC to around 1075 BC. Each royal tomb is inscribed with scenes from Egyptian mythology and some feature transformative texts of divine nature. Some of these sacred texts include the books of knowing light and dark, the book of what is in the underworld, the book of caverns, and naming and taming the hours of the night. This is the ideal place to witness the opulence and power of the pharaohs and embrace your inner power and potential.
